The Centrale Database Taxivervoer (CDT) replaces the Boordcomputer Taxi. The required trip and working-time data is delivered digitally to the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT). From 1 January 2028, CDT is mandatory.
No rush. But smart to have it sorted.
Now — BCT and CDT can both be used during the transition period.
Q4 2026 — Driv3 CDT is planned.
1 January 2028 — The BCT stops. CDT becomes mandatory.

Can I use Driv3 only for CDT?
Yes. Driv3 CDT works on its own. You don’t have to use any other Driv3 features.
What does Driv3 CDT cost?
From €17.50 per month outside Amsterdam and Schiphol. Already using Driv3 on a paid plan? Then CDT is included and you pay nothing extra.
Do I only get CDT for €17.50?
No. You also get access to Driv3 for rides, planning, dispatch, clients, payments and collaboration. Whether you use those features is up to you.
I'm still locked into another provider. What now?
Switch to Driv3 already. As long as your current contract runs, you pay nothing with us. That way you avoid double subscription costs and can switch at your own pace.
What if I don't drive for a while?
Then you don’t keep paying unnecessarily. You can pause your subscription and reactivate it when you start driving again. Not driving? Not paying
Do I need new hardware?
No. Driv3 CDT is being developed for Android and iOS and works without separate CDT hardware.
When is CDT mandatory?
From 1 January 2028. Until then, the transition period from BCT to CDT applies.
When is Driv3 CDT coming?
Driv3 CDT is planned for Q4 2026.
